Jeffrey Metzner
Award-winning artist/painter/designer Jeffrey Metzner has been working in the creative field since age 16. Honing his skills working as an art director at some of the best ad agencies, he eventually landed at New York agency Doyle Dane Bernbach, where he achieved recognition as one of advertising's top creatives.
For the next 20 years Metzner directed TV commercials for his own award-winning Metzner Productions. He now heads the highly experimental motion graphics department at The School of Visual Arts in New York, and for the past 10 years has been teaching a series of internationally acclaimed "alternative advertising portfolio" classes at SVA. Metzner has most recently collaborated with MoMA with a series of images, rendered in stick-figure form, celebrating works from the Museum's collection by artists such as Henri Matisse, Andy Warhol, Henri Rousseau, and Marc Chagall.
