Product Description

Two-Handled Cheese Knife

Used throughout the Netherlands and designed to cut gouda and other rind cheeses, the Two-Handled Cheese Knife has an ergonomic wooden handle at each end to provide leverage while slicing. It is made by the largest cheese instrument company in the world, which has been in business for over 100 years. The Two-Handled Cheese Knife reflects the Museum's effort to document and display examples of Dutch design from the modern era, many examples of which were featured in Contemporary Design from the Netherlands, an exhibition mounted by the Department of Architecture and Design in 1996. Hand-wash only.
