After the hurricane, we made these with a group of kids who needed a stimulating project. They had a great time and really loved the results. Aside from a couple of smaller trim pieces being a little flimsy, we found the quality to be surprisingly good and well designed. I think these would even be fun for a low-key birthday party with the final masks being a take-home gift.

My five year old and I enjoyed making these masks. They are well designed for a young kid to put together and they are fun to decorate. Just note that they are made of standard thin cardboard - so when you paint them go easy on the amount of water you use.
