Bauhaus Bauspiel Building Blocks
Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, 1924

During her training at the legendary Bauhaus in 1924, Alma Siedhoff-Buscher designed this building game as part of the children's room in the model house, "Am Horn" in Weimar, Germany. Her design reflects the classic Bauhaus use of strong colors and wood in children's toys, along with the school's philosophy of creating toys meant to stimulate inventiveness, joy, and imaginative faculty in children. Made of wood.

For ages 6 and up.

Product selected to accompany Bauhaus 1919–1933: Workshops for Modernity.
