I love my birdie letter opener. It is so adorable, and so useful. A very elegant and beautiful design. The birdie letter opener will sit on your desk and gently rock, waiting for you to pick her up and use her. You will smile every time you look at the Birdie Letter Opener. Makes a cute, inexpensive, clever gift, but better yet, get one for yourself too.

While it is as cheery as it looks, it doesn't work well as a letter opener. And after three days of use, the tail broke off.

Adorable, but not at all functional. The "tail" isn't sharp enough to cleanly open a letter and you end up with a jagged mess of an envelope. Sad, because as cute as it is, I'd like to actually use it for its intended purpose.
