This is not a heavy duty umbrella. For the price, you'd expect something sturdier, more wind resistant. This umbrella is almost equal to those disposable $5 sidewalk umbrellas one buys when caught in a thunderstorm. The only difference between the two, is this umbrella is adorned with the gimmickry of the color changing splat. Clever and fun in the rain, yes. Practical in a high wind thunderstorm, no. It's no longer fun or clever when your umbrella turns inside out on you every block.

Will work in a pinch for minor showers, no wind. Do not bring this umbrella to Chicago.

Overpriced for what it truly is.

Love it! The colors are so pretty and it actually works realy well! The only thing I don't entirely like about it is that i think the pattern on the top is supposed to be bird poop, because on the side it says Bird Squit Umbrella. WHY?? I think it should be something prettier instead.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. We couldn't wait until it rained, so we ran it under the shower, and the colors were fantastic! It looked like splatters of paint. I was thinking I should have bought myself one too.
