Miniature Chair, Eames Elephant
Charles and Ray Eames, 1945
In the early 1940s Charles and Ray Eames developed a method for molding plywood into three-dimensional shapes. Only two prototypes of the legendary Eames Elephant were created, both of which have been exhibited at MoMA. This collectible miniature, developed by the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, replicates the full-size original.
