Elizabeth Murray / Popped Art Slipcase Set
Produced to accompany the Elizabeth Murray retrospective at The Museum of Modern Art, this set includes both the 220 page exhibition catalogue and the matching 32 page artist's book. The exhibition catalogue follows the most detailed examination of Murray's art yet mounted, showing the development from Pop-oriented reliefs in the 1960s to the extraordinary volumetric formats of her recent work. Popped Art contains two pop-ups, one derived from an existing Murray painting, the other from a drawing created especially for the book. Both pop-ups are designed by the accomplished paper engineer Bruce Foster in collaboration with the artist.
