Designers Satya Scainetti and Beth Torstrick travel the world, visiting different cultures, villages, museums, and markets seeking inspiration for their contemporary jewelry designs. These hoop earrings are handmade in Thailand using the lost wax method and come in cool, nurturing sterling silver or stimulating, uplifting gold-plated brass with gold-plated sterling-silver earwires. The Gold Teardrop Hoop Earrings reflect the Museum's effort to document and display jewelry and accessories from the modern era, as represented in past exhibitions such as Modern Handmade Jewelry.
