Law 5 Track Jacket
John Maeda, 2009
Created by Reebok in collaboration with John Maeda, world-renowned designer and President of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, this unisex track jacket displays Law 5 ("Simplicity and complexity need each other") from Maeda's The Laws of Simplicity.
At first, it looks like a traditional vector track jacket, but upon closer inspection, deeper patterns are revealed. Each vector piece of the jacket is printed on the individual pattern piece before assembly and the grain and direction of the graphic is different on each exterior piece. On the jacket's interior, advanced digital printing technology is used in order to capture a spectrum of color than cannot be captured using traditional production methods.
Features one interior and two exterior zip pockets. Made of poly-satin.
