The steamer is adequate for large objects, but its design means that smaller objects fall through the cracks, as will rice if you try to reheat it.

Plastic melted and stuck to the sides of my pot on its second use. Lovely design, but totally unpractical. Plastic should be MUCH more heat resistant. Fortunaely, once cool, the plastic easily peeld off my $150 pot. You'd be crazy to buy this until JosephJoseph improves it. (I've written them as well.) I wouldn't give it even one star, but this review form requires at least one star.

The one good thing I can say about this steamer is that it's made of non-stick plastic. At least I could save my pot after the steamer melt down.

Good quality, great colors BUT it does not fit any of my All Clad pots except for the largest stock pot and I rarely use it unless I'm entertaining or making squash soup. Would not purchase again, and have to go back to my cheap grocery store steamer.

Visually appealing product, but a terrible design. On first use the leaves melted and fused together. I find it hard to imagine how the designers came up with such a poor material for this steamer. There is no way it won't melt if it comes into contact with the sides of the pot.
