This item fell apart within a day of being received as a gift. It was not possilbe to fix. Also it was not possible to return because the original packaging was thrown out.

It's too bad because the person who received the gift really liked it.

I really wanted to recommend this product on tv, but when it arrived, first i could barely open it to get through the clam shell with regular scissors. Then, i needed to find a tool to fix this tool (an allen wrench! to screw in the bottom screw). Then I couldn't muscle the pliers back in myself to close it. And as far as i can tell -- the 12-piece bit set does NOT fit into the handle as advertised. What the heck!

The packaging of the tool is horrible. It's a fortress... It use too many plastic for a simple tool who don't need to be overprotected.
The tool is nice but not if you have to screw something in a small space, the hammer can scratch all things around the screw.

very cool unit but not clear on how it all works. first, the bits do not fit into the handle though there is a pocket for them in the case. also there is no instruction manual to explain each of the tools. in particular, the handle is notched. what is that for? the item is not on the website of protocol, the maker.
