Product Description

Prep Knife Set

Inspired by Samurai swords, designer Komin Yamada created these knives made from high-carbon stainless steel with thin straight-ground blades that stay sharp longer. With curved handles for a comfortable and secure grip, these knives are feather-light and weighted for perfect balance. Knives and flatware feature prominently in MoMA’s collection and are regularly displayed in the Museum’s Design Galleries. The Prep Knife Set reflects the Museum’s long and storied history with Japan, featuring over 1,000 works in the collection by Japanese artists and designers including objects, tea-related items, textiles, furniture design, films, painting, and sculpture. Made by Global. Set of three. Hand-wash only.
