Bought this for my husband a year ago and he uses it every night for bedtime reading. He's one of those people who seldom wants/needs anything, so I consider this a ringing endorsement. It's also been excellent for traveling since it is more versatile than most book lights. Two of my friends have now received this is a gift.

I tried to use this as book light and as a night light. In a matter of weeks one of the led lights wasnt working. Dont waste your money!

Sorry, I think it's a great idea and I like the way it looks, but the light was so dim it was useless, then it stopped working completely after about 4 days.

I got this book light as a gift. it was working great for a while - bright light, durable and reliable. i went to charge it the other day and the green light that signifies its charging doesn't come on anymore. i dont throw the base around so i dont see why it would stop working. i've tried most of the outlets in my house so i dont think it is a problem from my end.

beware - it may conk out on you. there is no other way to charge this without the base.

I was really excited about this light and was happy when I received it as a gift. Unfortunately, the lights stopped working one by one just about a month in. I've held on to it, because I keep hoping it is some fluke and magically they will recharge, but so far no luck.
